This is an important notice from AQUA sent 07-04-2023 to notified customers in the Philo Water System, Philo Illinois.

The precautionary boil water advisory for your system has been lifted.

 
Based on test results received today, for samples collected after the system pressure dropped below 20 PSI, due to Aqua has issued a precautionary boil water advisory due to ongoing power issues from the recent storm., you no longer need to boil water for consumption.

Aqua has issued a precautionary boil water advisory due to ongoing power issues from the recent storm.

Aqua advises you to use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Bring water to a boil, boil it for five minutes and let it cool before use. We will notify you as soon as it is no longer necessary to boil your water.
