NOTICE OF ZONING ORDINANCE AND SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE UPDATES
PUBLIC HEARING MEETING PHILO, ILLINOIS
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby provided that one public hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. by the Planning Commission of the Village and another before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Philo at 7:00 p.m. with both being held in the Eileen Painter Room of the R.E. Franks Meeting Center located at 127 W. Washington Street, Philo, Illinois.
The purpose of the public hearing is to review a new Village of Philo Zoning Ordinance and a new Village of Philo Subdivision Ordinance both of which, if approved, will replace both existing ordinances and be applicable to all real estate located in the Village of Philo, Champaign County, Illinois.
The Village of Philo invites and encourages the public, all residents and interested parties to participate in a review of recent changes and updates to both the Village’s Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance.
Copies of the proposed Ordinances can be found at the Village Office for advance review between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.; Monday – Friday.
All residents of the Village of Philo are encouraged to attend. Please call the Village 48 hours in advance at 217-684-2562 if special assistance is required.
The ordinances may be changed, altered, modified, amended or redrafted in their entirety during the public hearings.
