NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING ANNEXATION
INTO THE VILLAGE OF PHILO, ILLINOIS
Notice is hereby given that there will be a public meeting of the Village of Philo Planning Commission at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in the Eileen Painter board room of the R. E. Franks Meeting Center located at 127 W. Washington Street, Philo, IL. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a public hearing to have a property located at 1679 County Road 900 North, Philo, IL – PIN 19-27-23-200-010 annexed into the Village of Philo. The property is currently zoned Agricultural under the Champaign County Zoning Ordinance and upon annexation to the Village of Philo is contemplated to be zoned Industrial under the Village Zoning Ordinance. There will be an additional public hearing by the Board of Trustees to consider the same matter on the same date in the same location at 7:00 p.m. Public comment will be taken at both hearings.
