Village of Philo Residents,
You may have received a letter from Village of Philo/Homefield Energy. If you are currently enrolled in the municipal aggregation program and want to continue, you choose Option 1: Do Nothing. If you are NOT currently enrolled and want to be part of the program, you choose Option 1: Do Nothing. You will be automatically enrolled in the program. If you do not want to be in the municipal aggregate program and choose your own provider, you choose Option 2: Opt Out by: June 17, 2025. The current municipal contract with the village runs through December 2025. A new contract will be negotiated mid-November/early December. Mayor Franks and the Board of Trustees will work with other communities throughout the state to help bring lower energy cost to village residents.
If you do not know who your provider is, look on page 3 of your Ameren bill in the left hand column. It will show who your energy provider currently is.
